We were introduced to linear drawing. In this drawing, we use lines and tones for sketching. Sir taught us to draw hands with and without borders, how linear drawings were used in topographic maps in which placement of specific lines/circles would show the highest peak in the mountain, the steepness as well as the smoothness/roughness.
He drew a hand on the board explaining how a bulge should be shown, how something deep should be shown, how our fingers and knuckles should be shown. We started drawing and then showed it to sir. Later on he told us to outline our hand and fill it with lines and he corrected our mistakes and taught us how to make our lines more smooth and then he told us to start making objects.
